“The Finish Line Never Lies” or “The Score Board Never Lies” for the other sports. Remember this when you’re training every day. Remember this when you are number one, and remember this when you are at the bottom. Remember this coming off an injury, remember this when nothing is going your way. Never forget it.

Sports are full of hype, word of mouth, and the media build up certain athletes to seem like God like figures but you know what, THOSE ATHLETES CAN STILL LOSE. Think about it if there is an opponent you are about to face, that seems unstoppable remember that the score board does not lie.

Click here to view the embedded video.

The Bad thing about it… that should push you to be better

If there is hype on any person or any team, they probably have done something outstanding to build this up. At the same time just because they have done something outstanding does not mean on the day you face them they are going to do it again. If you let them, you are only further allowing that myth to continue; don’t allow this.

The good thing about it… that should drive you EVEN more

Think for a second, if you beat the hype, DON’T YOU BECOME THE HYPE. That should be enough to make any athlete work hard, and never take short cuts. The team or person that people WASTE time being scared of can be you.
