Do vitamins really make a difference?

I ask myself that same question every morning and night when I pop them in my mouth as if I’m eating skittles….

The third installment of recovering is one that is probably the most controversial. When it comes to taking vitamins many nutritionists, doctors, athletic trainers or who ever, may say you do not need to take vitamins because if you eat the right foods than you should get all the nutrients you need.  Basically they say your wasting your time and money, and that all of the vitamins are just going to be a waste anyway.

My Arguments Vitamins

  • The way food is processed destroys many of the nutrients you think your getting
  • Athletes have a higher need for these, especially antioxidants and healing vitamins
  • I have recorded my diet into many diet trackers and it has shown I have been missing calcium, vitamin E, and magnesium on numerous occasions
  • In my opinion it is better to be safe and have an excess than be missing any vitamins or minerals
  • At the least… Vitamin C, Calcium,  and  a Multi Vitamin should be taken every day
  • If the budget allows get- Magnesium, Vitamin E, Vitamin B, and any natrural anti inflammatory
